How to Play Hello Neighbor

What the Neighbor's house looks like is a simple suburb home at least from the outside. But there are clues, puzzles and secrets waiting to be uncovered in every room.

Venture out into different rooms of the house to find keys, tools, switches and other helpful items. A lot of jigsaw puzzles involve using items, or boiling down to hidden mechanisms, to gain entry to new areas. Be sure to stay out of sight as the Neighbor is always on rounds in the house. If he gets a line of sight on you, he will chase you out, making you restart your sneaking.

Along the way you'll come up against tougher puzzles, secret passages, and strange machinery. When you solve each puzzle, you will be that much closer to the found the truth underneath the basement.

Tips for Success

Briefly observe the Neighbor's patrol patterns (he covers a lot of ground) before you make your way into the home. Only bring the stuff that you think you will need at the time, clutter is not needed. Search every room thoroughly as even the tiniest item may end up unlocking a huge part of the game. When you find one approach tightly guarded, try another way out rather than banging at the door.
