Granny 5 is a survival horror video game in the first-person perspective with the goal of immersing you into the world filled with mystery, puzzles, and sneaking around. In a creepy hotel, your task is to look into dark corridors, find the right tools to help you survive and figure out the escape from your nightmare, before the horrifying Granny finds you. This game will not make you run all the time but rather play a good mind game by combining creative level layout and using sound as your guide.

How to Play Granny 5

Granny 5’s gameplay is one of exploration, stealth, and acting out the most common sense in situation puzzles. Along the way, you’ll pick up items that let you access new areas of the hotel, as well as find more clues. A lot of puzzles are connected so you really need to go back to earlier locations once you have the right key or tool.

Stealth is key. Crouching makes you less noisy, and so does not stepping on the wooden floor with creaks sounds to prevent Granny from knowing where you are. When in doubt, you should hide if she detects a shaky noise. While defensive weapons can temporarily disable her, they are also used in case of emergency to provide additional time to complete vital tasks.
